C.C 蔡超

Background 背景

C.C (1987) was born and lived in Shanghai. He started traditional Chinese paintings from an early age and has since cultivated a growing interest in paintings. in 2002, he went to Shanghai Huashan Art Vocational School to get systematic art training, where he received invaluable support and help from his mentors Yongshi, Fanshen, and Shuanghua Zhang for his abstract creation. After graduation from Shanghai Institute of Technology, he has been involved in art exchange activities with universities and made multiple experimental exhibitions while he was in GMT+8 Society.

蔡超（1987）生于上海，现长居于上海。他自幼开始学习国画，从小对画画产生浓厚的兴趣。他于2002考入华山美校开始系统培训，就学时期施勇、申凡、张双华老师对其之后的抽象创作给予了极大的支持和帮助。 2009从上海应用技术大学毕业后，他在东八区艺术研究社(原名为东八区艺术社团)与各高校进行艺术交流并尝试了多次实验性展览。

C.C’s passion and pursuit of art motivate him to keep creating and exploring emotions that can be communicated through art. He breaks the constraint set by the exam-oriented education, using the traditional form of painting to represent contemporary cultural language. Everything can be deconstructed, from life experience to everyday trifles. Deconstruction is the inspiration of his works and representation is fundamental. The most complicated representation can be boiled down to the combination of dots, lines, and planes, but C.C hopes to create more space for imagination through various combinations of color and change of structure.

蔡超对艺术的渴望和追求推动着他不断的进行创作，寻找通过画面可以传达的情感。他挣脱传统应试教育的束缚，以传统的绘画形式表达当下时代的文化语言。世间万物皆可解构，大到生活经历，小到柴米油盐。解构是创作的源泉，表达是创作的根本。再复杂的表现方式都可被归结为点线面的组合，但通蔡超通过过不同的颜色搭配与结构变化希望为观赏者创造出更多的想象空间。 

Residency Experience 驻地经历

C.C ended his residency with his exhibition "I don't wanna show u" that was based on the story between C.C and No.name. After visiting his studio with a collection of more than 300 works, we asked him if he would like to have an exhibition at No.name. While his initial reply was "I don't wanna show," C.C finally decided to join No.name Residency to share his works with broader audiences, with the belief that his residency at No.name will be an unforgettable story in his art journey. 

蔡超以基于他和No.name相识的故事命名的展览“我不想展示给你”结束了驻地活动。在参观完他容有超过300件作品的工作室之后，我们问他是否考虑在No.name办一次展览。尽管他起初的回答是“我不想展出”， 蔡超最终决定加入No.name的驻地项目将他的作品展现给更多的观众，他相信在No.name的经历将会为他的艺术旅程添上难忘的一笔。
