Background 背景

Xiang, born in Chengdu in 1984, creating electronic music, field recording, electroacoustic composition. Practicing art projects which combine sound, body and performance.

Her works were released on amplify 2020, Miji concert by Subjam, Zoomin’Night, LEAP, Prajnasonic and play rec..recently are played on framework Radio in London. 

响，1984年生于成都，主要创作电子音乐、田野录音、电子原音作曲。实践结合声音、身体、表演的艺术项目。作品曾发表于amplify 2020在线音乐节，撒把芥末密集音乐会，燥眠夜，艺术界LEAP，Prajnasonic和play rec;最近在伦敦独立电台framework播出。

She studied in Germany and was deeply influenced by European electronic music. After returning to China, she decided to pursue music and became a DJ. She also stayed in Berlin for a while. While focusing on electronic music, she likes to record sounds. Her "Sounds of X" combines visuals and all kinds of soundscapes in the city of Chengdu.

她在德国留学期间深受欧洲电子音乐的影响，回国后决定追随自己热爱的音乐成为了一名DJ。后来也在柏林生活了一段时间。她专注于电子音乐的同时也喜欢记录声音，她正在创作的《城市的声音》将结合影像记录成都这座城市中各式各样不同的声景。

Residency Experience 驻地经历

As a conclusion to her residency, Xiang collaborated with two other musicians Jun-Y Ciao and Yizhou Sun to bring an unprecedented experimental performance.

响和另外两名音乐人照骏园与孙一舟以一场前所未有的实验性表演结束了她的驻地经历。

Field n.n, performed by V, kurocoral, Sea-shroom, Penny, and Xiang, is a conceptual work for a specific space. Based on field recording, five people will perform in the same space. In a certain period of time, they will do some simple things, slow body movements, daily behaviors. Or in silence, and stay.

由舒予，可叻皮筋，小扎海菇，关敏佳，响带来的表演，工作室的田野，是一个概念性的作品，为特定空间而做。基于田野录音，由五人在同一空间中表演。他们将在特定的时间内，做一些简单的事，缓慢的身体动作，日常行为。亦或无声，停留。

What A gives B is not what, performed by Jun-Y Ciao, Xiang, is a premeditated performance, but we don't know what will happen. Although we may have imagined many possibilities, the results may be unexpected. We didn't rehearse, and we couldn't rehearse. We will be told what to play until the performance begins, or we can say that decide what to play. The instrument may not be used, but the body is always ready. The results may not be the most important, but we are just as much curious and expected as the audience.

由照骏园和响带来的，A给B的不是B给A的， 是一个经过预谋的表演，但是我们不知道现场会发生什么，尽管我们也许作了很多可能性的设想，但是结果通常可能在预想之外。我们没有排练，也无法排练。表演开始我们才被告知去演什么，或者说才能决定演什么。带着的乐器有可能并不会使用，但是身体，时刻准备着。对于结果，可能不是最重要的，不过我们还是和观众同样期待和好奇。
